February Book Club
It's time to get your laugh on!
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the first Nonfiction Book Party Bookclub Happy Hour on Friday! We discussed the “Health & Wellness” books that everyone read and then our surprise guest talked about her book “A Little Brain Dead” which is about her experience with having a stroke at age 44
. Check out Kimberly’s books here. Despite the “technical” difficulties, it was a great group of super smart people and I think everyone was engaged and interested. In this book club, you get to read any nonfiction book that fits the monthly prompt.
February’s theme is Humor and I’m excited to see what everyone chooses. I recently read Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come: One Introvert's Year of Saying Yes by Jessica Pan and would definitely recommend it in the Humor category.
There are two ways to participate:
Discussion on Bookclubs.com (website is easier to navigate than app)
Our main discussion each month will be on the Bookclubs.com page, under Club Messages. There will be a monthly thread where you can share which book you’re reading and chat with your fellow book club members.
Zoom Call
I will host a zoom call discussion on the last Friday/Saturday of the month. Attendance is optional and secondary to the discussion thread.
Regardless of your attendance, please engage and participate in the monthly discussion thread!
SAVE THE DATE
Our next Nonfiction Book Party Happy Hour is scheduled for 5 PM PST on February 24th (the last Friday of the month). I will post the link on Bookclubs.com under “Meetings”. Hope to see you there!

Believe it or not, her book could actually work for February’s Humor theme as well!
